I came across this section of the Middle Fork of the Snoqualmie River one day when I detoured off of I-90 and decided to take one of the forest roads that parallel the interstate. The lighting conditions for shooting images was not at its peak, however, I found this section of the river that was in the open shade on this otherwise, bright, sunny day. By adding a neutral density filter, I was able to slow the shutter speed down enough to give the water that silky smooth appearance and create this panoramic abstract image.
