Since I was taking my daughter to the public library, I thought I might grab a few books.

The first is titled B&W Printing by George Dewolfe and from quickly glancing through the book, goes into depth on black and white images from conception, photographing and post processing.

Since I’m a fan of Washington state history, I also picked up the book title Exploring Washington’s Past which gives a brief history of all the areas throughout the state. Some very interesting reading.

Here are a few historic pictures of Edgewood, Washington we had laying around in boxes at the fire station. I photographed the prints with my iPhone and edited them in Lightroom. Not perfect, but not to bad either, considering the conditions of the prints.
