Coplay Lake in Winter

Just outside the Northwest corner of Mt Rainier National Park is a mountain lake called Coplay Lake. From the bridge that crosses the Carbon River, a forest service road leads to the lake. During typical days in late December, the lake is not accessible by four wheeled vehicles, however, this year, the snow pack in this area is a little late coming and I was still able to drive my Land Cruiser to the lake (doubtful on the day I am writing this because of a winter storm in the mountains).
