Taylor Bridge Wildland Fire Photos – Ellensburg, Washington

This evening, I just got back from capturing images from the Taylor Bridge Fire that started this afternoon East of Cle Elum and is rapidly spreading East along the North side of the Kittitas Valley towards the outskirts of Ellensburg. Many homes have already burned and many are threatened. Evacuations are taking place.

Local fire department crews are on-scene doing what they can to protect homes. A state-wide mobilization of fire department resources have been called and are enroute to the region.

The following set of images were captured this evening from an area off Highway 10 just South of Thorp. Multiple homes in the developments that dot the hillside have already burned. I talked to several people who are just waiting to find out if their home is still standing. My prayers go out to everybody who is effected by this fire.

The next image was captured from my home on the opposite side of the valley.
