ONE MINUTE LANDSCAPE: Stormy Winter Day, Cape Disappointment, Washington, 2020

Mid-January 2020 brought a combination of high tides and stormy seas to the Southwest Washington coast. This weather brought exciting wave action to the famous surf viewing area at Waikiki Beach in the Cape Disappointment State Park. 

Over the weekend, hundreds of photographers converged on this location to shoot their ocean surf photographs. 

In addition to my still images, I captured this “One Minute Landscape” black and white video of the crashing surf onto the cliffs below the lighthouse.
