When I arrived at the Rouge Cloître near Brussels, Belgium, I entered the complex and walked past this building. It wasn’t until later in the morning I came back for photos of this area. The sun was low in the sky. Beautiful sidelight hit one side of the 15th-century structure, cobblestone courtyard, and gardens. Daffodils…
After some research, I found the Abbaye du Rouge Cloître on the forest edge, southeast of Brussels. Up before dawn, I set off in that direction.
