Along the Forest Edge, Washington

A reintroduction for my new followers to a fan favorite… this is “Along the Forest Edge, Washington“!

My black and white intimate landscape photograph captures the beauty of a forest edge in Washington state. The photo is simple yet evocative. It features a few vine maple trees growing on the edge of a forest, with their leaves changing color in the fall. The alder trees are tall and slender, and their trunks are covered in moss and lichen. The forest behind them is dark and mysterious.

The photo reminds us of the beauty of nature, even in the simplest of places. Vine maple trees are a common sight in Washington forests, but they are often overlooked. This photo shows us that even the most ordinary things can be beautiful if we only take the time to notice them.

The photo also conveys a sense of mystery and intrigue. The forest in the background is dark and forbidding. This makes the viewer wonder what lies beyond the edge of the forest. What creatures live there? What secrets does it hold?

The photo also reminds us of the importance of preserving our forests. Forests are essential to our planet’s health and provide habitats for a wide variety of plants and animals. We must do everything we can to protect our forests for future generations.
